Miley Cyrus might be doing Justin Gaston in her free time.

But her professional life is spent rocking out to songs such a “Let’s Do This,” the single whose music video premiered last night on the Disney Channel.

The song - with lyrics that include “I’ll turn it on, I’ll turn it up, I’ll show you all what I’m made of” - will be featured in the The Hannah Montana Movie, scheduled for an April 2009 release.

Miley Cyrus Stoked Over Golden Globe Nomination

Miley Cyrus was woken up this morning at 5:30.

But the teen icon didn't mind the texts she continued to receive at such an early hour. (We wonder if they awoke Justin Gaston, however.)

The Hannah Montana actress was being informed of her Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for "I Thought I Lost You," the theme song for her movie Bolt.

"I'm so stoked! I never expected to get nominated," the singer said. "I can't believe I'm on the same list as Clint Eastwood, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen and everyone else."

Miley Cyrus is Coming to Town

, Christmas fans: Miley Cyrus has come to town!

The teen icon is seen here during a taped performance for Walt Disney World’s Christmas Day Parade. The singer rocked out with her a rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

The holiday special is hosted this year by Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. It will air on December 25th and feature The Jonas Brothers, Corbin Bleu, David Cook, David Archuleta, Matt Dallas and Sarah Brightman.

Miley Cyrus Praises Annie Leibovitz, Justin Gaston

Great news, teenage males: Miley Cyrus might pose topless again!

Well, sort of.

Referring to the controversial set of photos taken of her by Annie Leibovitz, Cyrus told Great Britain's UK's The Daily Record that she has no regrets.

"Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more because that's more like the style, but the States are really conservative... [Leibovitz] was amazing and so talented and her lighting... I would love to work with her again. But I realize I'm just a kid."

Meanwhile, the singer also discussed her 20-year-old underwear model boyfriend, Justin Gaston. And she sounded a bit pompous when trying to compliment his manners.

"I'm surrounded by good-looking guys, the models, the actors, this and that, so it ends up not being about [looks]," Cyrus told the newspaper. "It ends up being about the personality and the way someone treats you."

Celebrity of the Year Finalist #2: Miley Cyrus

As 2008 winds down, it's time to reflect upon those - from household names to relative unknowns, from A- to D-list - who made this year so memorable.

The Hollywood Gossip is unveiling 10 finalists for its 2nd Annual Celebrity of the Year award. They've given us their best, their worst, even their nude pictures in some cases. Now it is time for us to give something back with this moving tribute.

We previously profiled America's least favorite attention-starved reality stars, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Today, we present Celebrity of the Year finalist #2 … Miley Cyrus!

In 2008, this teen sensation borrowed a phrase from Britney Spears: Oops, readers, Miley isn't that innocent!

It all started in late April, as Cyrus posed for Vanity Fair, without a shirt on. Followers of this singer/actress saw a whole new side to the star... literally!

Miley was also caught posing for a number of racy MySpace pictures. While they weren't as racy as nude shots of fellow young icons such as Vanessa Hudgens and Adrienne Bailon, these pics made a clear statement:

Miley Cyrus wants to be seen in a more mature light.

Enter Justin Gaston, the singer's 20-year old boyfriend. He and Cyrus began dating in September. They've been hot and heavy ever since, earning the praise of Billy Ray Cyrus and the felony jokes of Joel McHale.

From posing nude to being laid down nude by an older man, Miley came a long way in 2008. Oh, and in case you didn't hear: the actress also turned 16 in November.

Miley Cyrus' Reaction to Golden Globe Nomination

Miley Cyrus isn't even old enough to vote, yet she's accomplished more as a 16 year-old than most of us will in our lifetime.

The teen queen's song 'I Thought I'd Lost You' was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song this morning, and Miley couldn't be more thrilled.

"I am so honored to be nominated for a Golden Globe and to be in the company of such accomplished musicians and artists," Miley tells Hollyscoop.com

"'I Thought I Lost You' is such a special song to me. It is about true friendship and came straight from my heart. And it was so much fun to write with my good friend Jeffrey Steele. I feel so blessed," she added.

This is Miley's first Golden Globe nomination, and we're willing to bet it won't be her last. So who will Miley take as her date to the big show? Miley says she's considering taking either her Bolt co-star John Travolta or Jeffrey Steele, who helped co-write the song. Who do you think should accompany Miley to the show?
